Peut-Être Theatre’s artistic director Daphna Attias is also the co-artistic director of critically-acclaimed site-specific company, Dante or Die.
Peut-Être has grown alongside Dante or Die’s development over the past decade and many of the artists who have collaborated with Peut-Être have also made work with Dante or Die.
The company makes bold and ambitious site-specific performances that tour across the country and internationally. They gently transform ordinary spaces to create unique and intimate theatrical experiences.
Daphna leads the company with her co-founder and Co-Artistic Director, Terry O’Donovan. Their original productions interrogate and celebrate contemporary human stories that take place in everyday buildings – from hotel rooms to swimming pools to cafés.
Dante or Die has collaborated with leading arts venues across the UK including Traverse Theatre, The Lowry & The Almeida alongside grassroots organisations in the localities in which they make work. Dante or Die are SITELINES Associate Artists at South Street Reading, which champions performance in unusual locations.
